Belarus, Russia's Chuvashia Republic to share experience of realization of digital projects

Belarus and the Chuvashia Republic of the Russian Federation intend to share experience of realization of digital projects, BelTA learned from Belarusian First Deputy Communications and Informatization Minister Pavel Tkach.

Belarusian Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan and Minister of Digital Development, Information Policy, and Mass Communications of Chuvashia Kristina Mainina discussed cooperation options.

Kristina Mainina said: “We have identical ways and approaches. On our part we are ready to provide all the educational courses, which have been held in the region, in order to reach the people, who will take care of transformation in government bodies. The best way is to borrow the best from each other as well as tested solutions, which will definitely work. We have a very similar mentality, this is why we can borrow the best practices and successfully implement them.”

First Deputy Communications and Informatization Minister Pavel Tkach added that it was the first close contact between the ministers. Representatives of Chuvashia had been made familiar with Belarusian approaches towards the realization of digital projects before that. Although the Russian region's minister has been working for only 1.5 years, some steps in this direction have already been made. “During the meeting it turned out that our ideas, problems, and ways to resolve them are very similar,” the Communications and Informatization Ministry representative said.

As a result of the meeting the sides took a look at future prospects of tight cooperation and sharing of theoretical and practical experience.
