Belarus President congratulates Vitebsk Academy of Veterinary Medicine

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the staff of Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine on its 85th anniversary, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service. “Your university has passed a long way from a college to the major Belarusian academy with a well-developed system of training highly-qualified personnel in veterinary medicine and animal science. Since its foundation, the university has created more than sixteen scientific schools and trained more than 30,000 experts,” the message of congratulation says. Alexander Lukashenko expressed his confidence that the academy staff will keep providing scientific support and human resources for the agricultural sector of economy, thus strengthening the academy’s high prestige.
