Belarus-Lithuania company to invest ?1.5m in production of homeopathic medicines

VITEBSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Belarusian-Lithuanian AconitPharma company is going to implement an investment project to launch the production of homeopathic medicines in Vitebsk Oblast, BelTA learned from the Vitebsk territorial fund Vitebskoblimushchestvo. The company will invest almost ?1.5 million to create homeopathic medicines’ production with an annual capacity of five million packages. The joint company is going to produce 11 medical products designed by Belarusian and Lithuanian specialists. More than 60 jobs will be created. In line with Resolution No. 108 “On commercializing the unused state property” as of 27 February 2007, the investor will receive municipal property for free use for three and a half years. The investor will get three buildings of the total area of about 2,200 square meters in Beshenkovichi. The property stood idle from 2004. In case the project designed to run until 2014 is successful, the property will be transferred into the ownership of the investor. The investment project was approved by the experts’ council of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee. Currently Vitebsk Oblast is implementing three investment projects to start up new production facilities. Under these projects Vitebsk Oblast gave investors unused municipal property for free use.
