Belarus attends Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference
MINSK, 30 August (BelTA) – Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives’ permanent commission for state construction, local government and regulations Mikhail Orda who heads a delegation of the National Assembly on contacts with the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC) took part in the 21st BSPC meeting in Saint Petersburg on 26-28 August, BelTA learnt from the press service of the House of Representatives. The major theme of the conference was Energy Cooperation and Favorable Ecological and Social Environment for the Benefit of Baltic Sea Sustainable Development. The Belarusian representative updated the participants of the meeting on his country’s efforts to contribute to the favorable ecological environment and energy cooperation. Mikhail Orda met with BSPC Chairwoman Valentina Pivnenko. Bilateral meetings were held with members of foreign parliamentary delegations to discuss inter-parliamentary cooperation.БЕЛТА
