Ballot count in Orsha is open, in full compliance with law, CIS observer says
VITEBSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Ballot count in Orsha is open and in full compliance with law, BelTA learnt from CIS observer member of the Smolensk Oblast Duma Vladimir Ryzhichenkov. “Counting procedures are clearly described in the Election Code. Election commissions observe them, there were no critical remarks and complaints,” said the observer. Another 10 observers also observed the process of opening the ballot boxes and counting of votes at polling station No.4 in Orsha. According to Vladimir Ryzhichenkov, none of his colleagues had any claims to the work of the election commission. In general, when assessing the voting day in Orsha, Vladimir Ryzhichenkov noted the high level of organization of the voting process and the competence of the members of the commissions at all eight polling stations which he visited. The observer also pointed out that although there were a lot of materials on all presidential candidates at polling stations, voters almost did not stop by these stands. They received their ballots and went to vote. “This suggests that they received enough information about all candidates before the voting day and made their informed choice,” Vladimir Ryzhichenkov said.БЕЛТА
