Alexander Lukashenko congratulates Vitebsk Medical University

MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the staff of Vitebsk State Medical University on its 75th anniversary, BelTA learnt from the presidential press service. “For many years of its activities the university has become one of the major centers of medical education and science in Belarus. It has been providing high-level training, retraining and enhancement of qualifications of physicians and pharmacists, conducting research in treatment and preventive measures of various diseases, expanding international cooperation and export of its services,” the message of congratulations says. “I am convinced that your personnel will continue working fruitfully, upbringing decent representatives of such an important profession on Earth,” the President stressed.
