Kirill Valevsky from Vitebsk won gold in the youth competition in the weight category up to 65 kg. A total of 44 medals were awarded in 11 weight categories.
Let us add that Kirill Valevsky regularly pleases sports fans in the Vitebsk region with his successes. So, this summer he won a bronze medal at the World Championships among athletes under 17 years of age in Istanbul.

Winter grain crops were sown on 1,289,900 hectares of land (83.9% of the plan), BelTA learned from the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
As of 5 October, some 8,060,300 tonnes of grain crops and rapeseed were cropped in Belarus. This included 7,019,600 tonnes of grain and leguminous crops as well as corn.

The national air carrier Belavia is changing its flight schedule to Dubai and Sharjah in October, BelTA learned from the airline.
At present Belavia flies to Sharjah on Tuesdays and Fridays with departure from Minsk at 00:50 and arrival in Sharjah at 08:00, and departure from Sharjah at 09:00 and arrival in Minsk at 14:00. Starting from 29 October, Saturday flights will be added to the schedule.
