VITEBSK, March 10 (BelTA) – In 2008, the total profits of Vitebsk oblast’s health resorts reached Br592 million. The profitability made up from 1.5 to 11.4%, BelTA learnt from Elena Andreikova, head of the Vitebsk oblast department of the Belarus National Centre for Recuperation and Sanatorium-Resort Therapy.

The Postavy Dairy is planning to export $1 million worth of animal oil to Kazakhstan, the company told BelTA.
In line with the contract signed in 2008, the company will dispatch nearly 350 tonnes of oil to Kazakhstan. The first 40-tonne batches have already reached the destination in December 2008 and January 2009.

Postavy Dairy Factory has invested about Br2 billion in the reconstruction of the whole milk production shop, including Br1.2 billion spent on new equipment, representatives of the company told BelTA.
Working hard to reconstruct the workshop, the company is now performing building and construction works, purchasing and installing equipment without interrupting the operation. The project worth around Br5 billion is supposed to be finished in H2 2009.
