VITEBSK, 20 October (BelTA) - From 2006 to September of 2010, industrial production in Vitebsk Oblast increased 1.4 times from 2005, BelTA learnt from the economy committee of the Vitebsk oblast executive committee.

VITEBSK, 19 October (BelTA) – CIS observers that have been sent to monitor the presidential election in Belarus have arrived in Vitebsk Oblast, BelTA learned from Vyacheslav Kryukovsky, Chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast commission for the Belarus president election.

VITEBSK, 18 October (BelTA) – Vitebsk Oblast and German company of Lingl are set to sign an agreement on the construction of a wall ceramics plant at the Belarus Investment Forum in Frankfurt am Main, BelTA learnt from deputy chairman of the economy department of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee Konstantin Chernyi.

VITEBSK, 5 October (BelTA) – Technolit-Polotsk has manufactured a monument dedicated to the Heroes of the Patriotic War 1812 for Russia’s Maloyaroslvets, BelTA learnt from the company’s director Leonid Petrov.
The contract was worth $1 million. The Polotsk enterprise has re-created the monument for the Russian city in the shortest possible time. Phased-in delivery of the monument will begin this week. The last flight is scheduled for 18 October.
