VITEBSK, 14 July (BelTA) – Russia treasures the International Arts Festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk and the Belarusian-Russian cultural cooperation, Culture Minister of Russia Alexander Avdeyev told reporters in Vitebsk, BelTA has learned.

VITEBSK, 13 July (BelTA) – The Pyatnitsky Folk Choir will congratulate the Slavonic Bazaar Arts Festival on the 20th anniversary on 13 July, BelTA has learned.
The Pyatnitsky State Academic Russian Folk Choir will give a performance dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the choir in the Summer Amphitheater. Russian singers Larisa Dolina, Renat Imbragimov, Tamara Gverdtsiteli will also take part in the concert.

VITEBSK, 13 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian participant of the Vitebsk 2011 Song Contest Alena Lanskaya is a leader according to the results of the two contest days, BelTA has learned.
She scored 179 points out of 180. Ukraine’s Vladimir Kvasnitsa showed the second result with 174 points. David Deil from Czech Republic and Ruta from Lithuania landed third with 170 points. The six top list also includes Alisher Karimov from Kazakstan and Christina Scarlat from Moldova.

VITEBSK, 12 July (BelTA) – Cargo Service Company, a new resident company of FEZ Vitebsk, specializes in freight transportation and providing transport and dispatch services, BelTA learned from the Investment and Economic Department of the Vitebsk FEZ Administration.

VITEBSK, 12 July (BelTA) – Alena Lanskaya from Belarus is currently leading after the first day of the Vitebsk 2011 Song Contest, BelTA has learned.
The girl scored 89 points out of 90. Ukraine’s Vladimir Kvasnitsa and David Deil from Czech Republic are ranked second with 88 points each. Ruta from Lithuania landed third with 86 points.
