The total area of spring crops for harvest 2021 in Belarus is estimated at 2.4 million hectares, Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Vladimir Grakun said at a press conference held on 30 March to discuss the readiness of the Belarusian agricultural sector for the spring sowing campaign in 2021, BelTA has learned.

The final show of the Dream Dance Fest project will take place in the format of a gala concert during the 30th edition of the International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk.

A Chinese investor has spent Br2,800 to purchase buildings of two former schools in Chashniki District of Vitebsk Oblast at an action organized by the Vitebskoblimushchestvo committee. It plans to set up food manufacturing facilities on the premises, BelTA learned from the committee.

Household sample surveys are carried out to assess living standards in Belarus. Low-income households are people whose per capita income is below the subsistence level. In 2020 the average per capita minimum subsistence budget in Belarus was Br253.5, and on 1 February 2021 it increased to Br262.87. Deputy Economy Minister Tatyana Brantsevich told BelTA about living standards in our country and the results achieved in recent years.

The 30th edition of the International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk has been scheduled for 14-19 July.
