Plans are in place to expand the Museum of Gifts in the Palace of Independence beyond the hall on the third floor into other premises, Press Secretary of the Belarusian President Natalya Eismont told the participants of the excursion around the Palace of Independence in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

For the West the migrant crisis is an occasion to build up a military presence on the border with Belarus, Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko told reporters following a meeting of the 61st session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Minsk, while commenting on the situation on the Belarusian-Polish border, BelTA reports.

Refugees are grateful to Belarus for help and support in a difficult situation, one of the refugees living in the temporary accommodation facility told BelTA.
