Tver Oblast seeks closer cooperation with Belarusian companies

Business circles of Tver Oblast, the Russian Federation are interested in expanding cooperation with Belarusian companies, representative of the European Information Consultative Center of Tver Oblast Tatiana Lvova told media in Vitebsk, BelTA informs.

According to Tatiana Lvova, the center is engaged in establishing contacts between Tver entrepreneurs and business circles of other Russian regions as well as foreign countries. “We are glad to have the possibility to present the interests of our companies in Vitebsk, get them familiar with your businessmen. We hope to reach new agreements and find new partners at this meeting,” she said about the meeting between businessmen of Tver and Vitebsk Oblasts.

In her words, Tver businessmen are showing big interest in Belarusian food, first of all, in meat and dairy products. “We are also interested in your scientific proposals, contacts between universities. We hope we will be able to establish cooperation in the production of souvenirs. We have such companies,” she added.

According to Tatiana Lvova, Tver Oblast companies develop cooperation with various cities of Belarus. “We have agreements with Gomel, Grodno, Minsk. Our businessmen plan trips to Grodno and Gomel to sign partner agreements and work out further cooperation. We hope everything will go well,” she said.

Vitebsk is hosting a delegation of businessmen from Tver Oblast. The delegation comprises representatives of manufacturing, trading, IT and other companies. The two-day visit will include a plenary session and visits to companies of Vitebsk Oblast (the Institute of Applied Acoustics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Vitebsk State Technological University, Vitebskkhlebprom, Moloko, Vitebsk Confectionary Vitba, Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant, Vasilina Factory, KIS and Rudakovo companies).
